We celebrated our 9th birthday by launching two beautiful boutique dressing rooms
We had such a great time last Thursday when we celebrated our 9th birthday at the same time as launching two brand new boutique dressing rooms.
With drinks and nibbles to mark our celebrations, provided by my favourite cocktail bar Sazerac, Northampton, everyone had a fantastic evening.
We are so excited to use our 9th birthday as an opportunity to showcase our new dressing rooms, offering brides the opportunity to try dresses on in a private space. There were lots of ‘ohhhs’ and ‘ahhhs’ on the night when we showed our guests the rooms.
It was great to see so many loyal suppliers who enjoy working in the wedding industry join us in celebrating our birthday in style.
Our dressing rooms are for the designer bride who likes a little TLC whilst searching for the dress of her dreams. Call us today to arrange a booking.
We are so thrilled to be a finalist for best retailer in the UK for the second year running in wedding ideas magazine. We feel honoured to be in the final with 4 other boutiques. The winner will be announced in january at an amazing awards party in london
we are so pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted down to the final 4 for the you and your wedding editors choice award, this is what the editor Maxine Briggs had to say about the awards
“As the UK’s leading bridal brand we understand the excitement of dress shopping and the importance of the I-have-dreamed-of-this-since-I-was-a-little-girl moment, which is why we have launched the You & Your Wedding Retail Awards 2014. Buying a wedding dress is often the biggest purchase a woman will ever make and small touches, such as great dressing rooms, bespoke details, service with a smile and going the extra mile, can mean a lot, turning a shopping expedition into a magical memory. It’s reassuring that our survey shows brides are receiving the service they deserve, now it is our turn to celebrate and champion retail excellence in our industry.”
The You & Your Wedding Retail Awards 2014 will recognise the very best in bridal retail across the UK. Synonymous with creating compelling content, in print and online, You & Your Wedding has unparalleled cross-media reach. Every day You & Your Wedding meets and talks to brides, their mums, maids (and grooms!), and listens to their experiences while inspiring and supporting them. The awards have been established to help advise brides-to-be where to go for the very best service.
There are 10 categories for retailers to enter and every entry will be entered into the Editor’s Choice Award recognising one exceptional entrant who demonstrates outstanding service and goes the extra mile to deliver that once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Bridal week NYC back in october I took the exciting trip to New York, wow what a city, the streets are packed full of an amazing atmosphere. While walking down 5th avenue we saw a bride and groom walk in to the middle of the road with their photographer, traffic stopped for them to have a kiss in the middle of the road, the photographer definitely got the perfect shot as onlookers including ourselves cheered with delight and well wishes. So it was New York bridal week. What a fabulous show, huge halls filled with the most amazing bridal gowns and accessories. First stop was to a bridal boutique on 5th avenue to view the amazing galia Lahav collection. This collection did not disappoint. Beautiful laces, stunning backs and made of the best fabrics that hugged the body and designed to show off the bodies curves.
The next day started on a high with Claire pettibones fashion show and we had front row seats. It was great fun to catch up with a few wedding industry friends while we awaited for the show to start. We received a goody bag full of prettiness. I am absolutely in love with these beautiful dresses and the love that has gone in to designing them, Claire really puts her heart and sole in to her designs and this collection definitely reflected that. This was the first time I had met claire, her husband and her team and they were all so very welcoming and friendly. It is so nice to work with such a down to earth designer. (i even got to meet a star from my fav tv series vampire diaries who was also at the fashion show viewing Claires dresses for her wedding next year) The whole day was so much fun. This trade show had such a lovely atmosphere and everyone was so kind and welcoming. It was so good to see how the bridal industry is in America. The next exciting achievement was to meet suzanne neville and place our first order, such a wonderful lady. I am so excited to be working with her, her dresses are so beautiful and elegant. I have always loved her designs so was ecstatic to be able to hold the collection in serendipity brides. Saturday night was a time to let the hair down and see the trendy meat packing district of NYC. We met up with some retailers, magazines and designers and enjoyed a few cocktails and made the most of our dancing shoes. Roll on nyc 2014
Back in september we held an accessory Evening, we hold these events 4 times a year and as always this was a great success. It was a chance for brides to come and find the all important finishing touches to their dress while sipping on a serendipity cocktail, we have created our own signature cocktail with hendricks gin, crushed limes, strawberries, brown sugar, ginger, freshly squeezed lemonade and tonic and all our customers will tell you its delicious. We also offered an incentive to buy on the night. So keep your eyes peeled for our next accessory event so you dont miss out on this great evening.
