The ideal time to start dress shopping depends on how long you have before your wedding. If you have around 12 months, that’s a great time to begin looking.
Some brides like to start two or even three years in advance, so it really does come down to personal preference.
If your wedding is less than 12 months away, we’d recommend starting as soon as possible. Many dresses can be ordered on quicker timelines, and we also have beautiful gowns available from stock.
The most important thing is to start when its right for you and you are ready to find the one as it can happen when you least expect it.

Classic bridal appointment
Up to 4 guests (including bride)
With this appointment, you will be with a dedicated stylist who will explore and try on a range of dresses with you.

Up to 5 guests (including bride)
This appointment is a chance for you and your loved ones to enjoy one of our beautiful bridal suites, pop the cork, toast together, and enjoy a bottle of Prosecco while you begin the unforgettable experience of finding your dream dress.

Bride Tribe Cocktails & Confetti
Up to 6 guests (including bride)
Can’t choose who to bring? Then this appointment is for you-celebrate saying yes to the dress in style in our largest bridal suite, where you and your guest will be welcomed with a signature Serendipity arrival cocktail and a little gift for the Bride to take home.

The Serene Appointment is perfect for brides who prefer a calmer, more intimate atmosphere when choosing their dress. Held during the week at selected times when the boutique is quieter, this appointment allows you to enjoy everything that makes Serendipity special — but at a softer, more relaxed pace.
With a dedicated stylist by your side, you’ll feel completely supported as you explore our collection. An experience designed to help you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to say yes to the dress in a way that feels just right for you.

Your dream dress has arrived – let the celebrations begin!
This special one-hour appointment is dedicated to the unforgettable moment you try on your actual wedding dress now that it’s arrived in store. You and your bride-tribe will be welcomed with a drink from our SB Signature Cocktail Menu to toast this magical occasion.
Your gown will be beautifully presented with a personalised hanger and a bespoke bridal robe – yours to keep and wear on your wedding morning. After your reveal, capture the moment with your bride tribe in our stunning Celebration Room.
