FAQs

When should I begin dress shopping?

It is never too early to start looking. We suggest deciding on a dress at least 6 to 9 months prior to your wedding date, so you have time for fittings and accessorizing. Do not panic if you have under 6 months, as there will be lots of dresses we can still get plus we do sell some dresses off the peg at a reduced price.

Do I need an appointment?

It is best to book an appointment especially during the weekend as we can get very busy. However, we will always try our best to accommodate you if we can.

How long is a bridal appointment?

We normally allow 1 and a half hours for a bridal appointment during busy times, although if we do not have an appointment booked in after you then there is no time restriction.

What is a trunk show?

During a trunk show, we have more of the particular designer’s collection in store, including new styles and bestsellers. If you know you love a specific designer, a trunk show is a perfect time to book your appointment! Make sure to do so in advance. Trunk shows book up fast! We also offer discounts for anyone who finds their dream dress at a trunk show.

Who should I bring?

We recommend that you limit your party to 4 or less during your visit. However, if you wish to bring more guests with you please give us a call to discuss and we can arrange a time for you all to visit. (Our afternoon tea party is a great option for bigger groups. Please call for details) Bear in mind having lots of people with you can easily make finding “the one” more difficult. Bring the people who know you best and whose opinions you value most. Your dress should reflect you as we are all different and have different styles.

Sizing…

Our designers make their dresses in standard sizing with a standard size chart. We will order the size that is as closest to your measurements and then alter from there. Alterations are nearly always needed (charges apply).
